Scandinavian Service, Inc. was started by Gert Lindner back in August of 1991, having worked for repair facilities who refuse to do a straight forward business with the customer , and many times cheated the customer for the sake of making more money. Gert couldn't take any more of the dishonest ways of these repair facilities, and decided to start his own little shop. He started a repair shop on Agate Court in Simi Valley, then moved to Chambers Lane in October of 1991, then in 1996 the company was incorporated. After being on Chambers Lane for over a decade,The company has moved to the present location at 2001 Donville Avenue, Simi Valley which is only one mile from the old location. The new location is much closer to restaurants, movie theaters and fast foods, hopefully, it will make auto repair more convenient for our customers, The new building has a much better waiting area for the customers.

As we move forward in the twenty first century technology in vehicles, we find ourselves wanting to acquire additional knowledge not only for vehicles on land, but also the advance technology available to vehicles on water. With Gert's prior experiences in the marine business during his technical training in Sweden, we have decided to join the advance team of Authorized dealerships in the United States. We will now be servicing Volvo Penta Diesel and Gas Engines, for boats and yachts, as well as providing parts for the boating enthusiasts. Along with that, we have added 'Onan Generators' to our list of specialties.

Scandinavian Service is now an authorized Volvo Penta and Cummins/Onan dealership.

Scandinavian Service is a family owned and operated company.

Our shop tries to perform the best service, repair and troubleshooting to the best of our ability with the latest technological equipment, We always try to keep the shop clean in appearance, and keep our customer service at the highest level possible. We have many regular customers, and most of our new customers are referrals from our regular customers. The loyalty of some of our customers actually exceed the life of the shop, and is GREATLY APPRECIATED.
